Great show today. Lots of fun stuff: F50, Cizeta, Rocket Truck, SL65 Black Series, 308 GTB, 24 Hours of LeMons BMW Weinerschmoker with exhaust-fired BBQ grill, plus tons of GTRs, NSXes, Mustangs, and a couple of SEMA cars -- the blackout Bentley and the Callaway supercharged Hendrick Camaro.

What a week! Almost slept in after a grueling week at SEMA, but luckily dragged myself down to Irvine. Awesome Trans-Am greeted me in the boneyard, a little hanky panky, an Ur-Quattro, and an Abarth 1300 near the DB, a rotisseried Dino, and, oh yeah, Tom's new rocket truck! The Ex-Tony Fox Proud American LSR car and Bonneville Boss transporter built by Ky Michaelson and Dean Moon.

Maxx got a special Halloween present from none other than David Love, a hand-painted vintage helmet! A couple of other folks got in the holiday spirit as well, both with costumes, accessories and orange cars! GMG showed off their Speed GT Porsches and previewed the 2010 GT3 RS Cup car, Zwart brought his incredible 906, Ken drove down in his gorgeous 275, Gerald had the Rosso Dino Enzo out, A Mercedes SL was sporting a DTM costume, a Delorean was dressed like a Ferrari, and Suzuki even brought their new Kizashi, cleverly disguised in an Audi RS4 costume.

Incredible day today with a massive overflow crowd thanks to the combination Corvette/Porsche 911 invasion and Mini day. Highlight was definitely the Mercedes W25 GP car that did 180+ mph back in the '30s.

Unbelievable day: Porsches as featured marque, Enzo, Drophead, R5 Turbo II, 16M, Scud, Vanquish...and that lovely trio of CLKs - Black, DTM and race.

VARA racers and a few stragglers from a recent Porsche documentary shoot really made it a spectacular show this morning. The 917 and 917/30 stayed on the truck unfortunately, but the first ever 934 and the LeMans GT1 more than sufficed. Oh, and two Evoras showed up as well. Lots of other great stuff in the mix as well.

Overflow crowd today. Seems the impending GM bankruptcy brought out the faithful. Huge invasion of Vettes, Solstices and Skys took up about three rows of spots that should have gone to more show-worthy vehicles. Not that there is anything wrong with those cars, but it is incredibly inconsiderate to crash a party like that. I still can't figure out why all of these clubs and forums don't just ask the organizers for permission first rather than pissing off the regulars. They could have easily fit into the side lot and left the main lot to the others.

Threatening skies kept the show to half capacity, but for those that showed it was a pretty good gathering. Our first Camaro and it was an orange SS!

Wow. Full house again this week with Brittish cars in the corral and a little bit of everything everywhere else. Mercedes McLaren SLR 722, Facel Vega reunion, Dual Ghia, Isos, Spyker LM85, Rossion Q1, Stop-Tech's new carbon ceramics on a hot Lexus IS-f, Austins, Astons, Minis, and even a new Ford Fiesta and Ka. All four Ferrari supercars plus Mercedes as the featured marque and a whole bunch of other great cars made this possibly the best C&C ever!

Volvo was the featured marque and besides a few sweet Saint cars, they brought out the all-new XC60 cute ute. As cool as those were, they weren't even the best cars in the corral. That honor would probably go to the Maserati MC12 or possibly the Ford RS200 rally car. The CGT and Stradale weren't bad either, nor were the Isos or Healeys. The main lot had some real gems too with a candy tangerine Porsche, a mustard yellow Dino and a lime green Maserati Ghibli SS with just 12,000 original miles! There was also a CL65 Benz, an Anteros, a Vanquish and some cute gal from Star Motors. Oh, and we spotted one of the infamous OC Lambos. Hope the poor owner doesn't have to give it back. Unfortunately we're guessing that VW is treating these as stolen and a lot of people will be stung by this unfortunate situation before all is said and done.

NSX Day brought out nearly 100 of these aluminum beauties as well as about 500 other show cars.

Seems like it's been forever since I've been to the show so it was nice that someone brought a genuine Porsche GT1 as a special welcome back.

My last Cars an Coffee of the year ended up being a pretty special one. The clouds were looking ominous but the rains held off. The lot never filled up, but there were some incredible cars to keep everyone satisfied. Hurst brought their Challenger show car. Tillack brought a Lynx XKSS and a Drogo bodied Ferrari. There was a gorgeous black Cobra, some Lambos, a bunch of Lotuses, a beautiful Ghibli, several Mercedes classics plus the new GLK, and a bunch of other interesting vehicles. And then a DBS showed up followed by a Rolls Drophead with the stainless steel hood package, just ahead of a black Bentley Arnage and then the highlight of the day, an Alfa 8C Competizione! A great close to the year. Happy Holidays everyone.
